New Resource Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client in Melksham for a Quality Inspector to take ownership of all inspection activities within the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to play a critical role in ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Purpose:
The Quality Inspector will be the focal point for inspection activities, supporting production teams to deliver “Right First-Time” products while meeting internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Quality Assurance:
• Conduct Goods-In inspection when required.
• Perform in-process inspections during production.
• Complete final inspections for new, repaired, and direct supply products.

Operational Support:
• Assist the Final Test Team during peak demand.
• Support the Quality Engineer in First-off, FAAT, and FAI activities.
• Aid the Production Manager in improving processes, procedures, and instructions.

Nonconformance Management:
• Manage and control nonconforming products during the production process.

Knowledge & Experience:
• Proven experience in a similar inspection role.
• Working knowledge of quality management systems (ISO9001/AS9100).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.

Desirable:
• Recognised qualification in an electro-mechanical discipline.
• Knowledge of IPC610 & 620 standards.
