Principal Town Planning Policy Officer
Hampshire
£45+ per hour - Umbrella
 
Initial 3 Month Contract (highly likely to extend)

My Local Authority Client in Hampshire is looking to source a very experienced Town Planning Policy specialist to join their Planning Department for an initial 3 month period.
 
The Role:
You will be required to support preparation of the emerging Local Plan included, by not limited to:
- Policy writing
- Evidence commissioning
- Strategic advice
- Policy refinement and options selection
- Preparing briefing notes/papers
- Review of planning legislation/guidance and assessment of compliance
- Undertaking monitoring duties
 
·Remote working is offered predominantly, but the role may also require some attendance at the request of tManagement.
·Flexible working hours supported
·Laptop will be required
