Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team, driving innovation in avionic solutions for aerospace applications.

This role involves developing and implementing robust engineering solutions across the product life cycle, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, legislation, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, analysis, and testing of components, systems, and processes to create innovative solutions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective designs that meet demanding environmental and size constraints.
Manage requirements, validate designs, and demonstrate compliance through testing and analysis.
Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to junior engineers, apprentices, and interns.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement, enhancing tools, processes, and team efficiency.
Maintain clear, constructive communication with stakeholders, presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Requirements:

Proficient in 3D modeling (SolidWorks/AutoCAD Inventor).
Strong understanding of configuration management and Finite Element Analysis.
Experienced in Design FMEAs and leading mechanical engineering teams.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum 5 years' experience in aerospace, defence, or other safety-critical industries is highly desirable.
