Connect Appointments are seeking reliable and motivated individuals with previous telephone experience to become a Telephone Sales Representative with one of the largest distributors of packaging products in the UK.

Based within Billingham, this is a full-time permanent role, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm (37.5 hours p/w); paid at a competitive rate of £24,000 per annum.

Working as a Telephone Sales Representative your duties and responsibilities will include promoting, selling and obtaining orders from prospective customers over the phone. Combined with:

Making outbound calls to generate sales
Building B2B relationships with customers
Discussing products and services, assisting customers in selecting those that are best suited for them
Documenting customer information and utilising information already collatedWhat's required? Sales experience is essential, along with previous phone experience. Combined with:

Excellent command of the English language
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
The patience and ability engage customers in conversation
Good sales ability
The ability to handle rejection and stress in soliciting customers
