Shutdown Engineers (Electrical Bias)
Location: Rotherham
Contract Length: 3-6 months
Hourly Rate: £32-£33p/h DOE
Shifts: Thursday and Friday – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (24 hours p/w)

We are seeking Shutdown Engineers to join a leading engineering company for a critical project in Rotherham. The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the maintenance of critical systems during scheduled shutdowns.

Electrical Bias Shutdown Engineer Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a shutdown maintenance plan for electrical systems, including control panels, PLCs, and motors.
Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot electrical faults.
Implement system upgrades to improve reliability and efficiency.
Maintain detailed records of electrical repairs and parts replaced.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical systems during shutdown.
Qualifications & Experience:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience in Food manufacturing
Knowledge of or electrical systems (PLCs, control panels).
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure during shutdowns.
Ability to read electrical schematics
