Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)

Location: East London

Job Type: Full-Time (5 days a week), Long Term, Day to Day cover work

Remedy are a reputable recruitment agency focused on placing skilled professionals in schools across London. We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term positions and daily supply work.

Job Overview:

We are looking for proactive and supportive Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant schools in East London. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and a strong commitment to assisting teachers and supporting students to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities:

Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities.
Assist students with their learning needs, both individually and in small groups.
Help with classroom management and create a positive learning environment.
Provide support for students with additional needs and help with personal care when required.
Assist in monitoring and recording student progress and behaviour.
Contribute to the development and implementation of individual learning plans.Requirements:

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
Strong understanding of classroom dynamics and effective support strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
Patience, enthusiasm, and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
Relevant qualifications or training in education (e.g., Level 3 TA qualification) are advantageous.Benefits:
