Exciting Opportunity: Geotechnical Engineer – Piling Specialist

Are you ready to take your engineering career to new heights? We’re on the hunt for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our clients dynamic team and make a real impact in the world of piling! This role offers the chance to lead, innovate, and drive technical excellence on high-profile projects.

As a Geotechnical Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting site teams with all engineering aspects of piling works, delivering creative solutions, and ensuring the highest standards in project execution.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Innovate: Standardize reinforcement cages in collaboration with Project Managers, driving cost efficiency and precision.

* Design: Create controlled pile schedules and detailed fabrication drawings, including temporary works and lifting points.

* Lead: Oversee and approve fabrication drawings, ensuring they’re ready for action on-site.

* Collaborate: Work closely with designers, suppliers, and testing companies to ensure seamless technical integration.

* Communicate: Produce clear, actionable method drawings and ensure key site personnel fully understand them.

* Problem-Solve: Anticipate technical challenges and craft effective, innovative solutions to keep projects moving.

* Improve: Continuously seek feedback from site teams to enhance processes and results.

* Quality Assurance: Review task briefings, ITPs, and RAMS to maintain and exceed quality standards.

* Proven piling site engineering experience, with a strong technical and practical skill set.

* Expertise in interpreting and implementing drawings, sketches, and specifications.
