Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a prestigious Highways Public Realm scheme in Cambridgeshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile project with a duration of at least one year, offering a competitive day rate and the benefit of operating outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:
·Manage all aspects of cost control and commercial management on the project.
·Prepare and monitor budgets, valuations, and cost reports.
·Handle subcontractor procurement and management.
·Ensure compliance with NEC contract terms and resolve contractual disputes when needed.
·Collaborate closely with the project team to ensure delivery within budget and on schedule.
·Liaise with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.

Essential Criteria:
·Demonstrable Highways or UK Tier 1 contractor experience.
·Proficient in NEC contracts and their practical application.
·Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
·Proven ability to manage large-scale public realm or infrastructure projects.
