KS2 SEND Teaching Assistant - Wigan

We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within a KS2 class in a Wigan school. This is to support a child on a 1-1 basis in a Year 4 class.

The role is to start in January for the spring term with the potential to be extended. This "Good " Primary School in Wigan are offering a long-term full-time placement 5 days a week 8.30 - 3.30. Pay starts from £85 per day depending on experience.

As a teaching assistant you will be responsible to support children within the class, including 1-1 support work and working with groups to support any gaps in the classroom.

The school is very welcoming and has an exceptional support network where everyone strives towards the same goals. Ensuring children progress to the best of their ability.

Knowledge and understanding working with KS2 and challenging behaviour
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure
Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
