Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Finance and Regulatory Support Administrator based in Stockton. This role, reporting to the Settlements Finance and Regulatory Coordinator, offers an engaging opportunity to support financial and regulatory activities within the energy sector.
  
Key Responsibilities:

Submitting fuel duty returns and payments to HMRC, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Supporting the billing of electricity supply and validating commercial data
Assisting with monthly ROC claims and Ofgem submissions
Managing data input and reconciliation for regulatory returns
Processing supplier invoices and preparing finance journals
Supporting statutory and commercial audits
Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial models and processes Requirements:

AAT Level 2 desirable or qualified by experience 
Experience with computerised accounting systems and SAGE
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders This part-time role (3 days per week) offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the finance and regulatory operations in a growing industry.
