Description

Fire Safety Officer required for a leading council in the Newcastle region on a temporary basis until April 2025.

My client requires an experienced, professional Fire Safety Officer to conduct risk assessments across a range of different premises types including sleeping accommodation, offices, schools, depots etc.

Key tasks:

Carry out fire risk assessments
Provide reports
Provide fire safety advise to managers
Deliver fire warden trainingEssential Requirements

Minimum NVQ Level 4 Fire Risk Assessment (if you hold a level 3 this can also be considered)
Previous experience in the related property settings
Sound knowledge of current fire legislation
Relevant awareness such ad BS9999 and DCLG sector guidancePay rate: £20.02 - £22.02, Umbrella, paid weekly
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 37hours per week
Duration: ideal start date 6th January - April 2025
Location: NE18 8
