Aerospace Finishing Operative - Denham, Middlesex

Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 per year (including 22.5% shift uplift)

Rotating Shift Pattern: 06:00am to 14:00pm & 13:45pm to 22:00pm

Join a leading aerospace engineering firm, providing lifesaving equipment for pilots worldwide. As a Finishing Operative, you’ll be part of a skilled team responsible for masking, bead blasting, and surface preparation for ejection seats at our Denham site. Your work will directly contribute to the safety of aircrew in advanced military aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret engineering drawings and specifications for surface finishing

To operate barrel tumbling and vibratory finishing equipment

Maintain high quality standards and follow health and safety protocols

To operate anodising finishing equipment in both manual and automated production line.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

Experience in surface preparation, masking, and bead blasting

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including COSHH
