Job Title: General Foreman

Day Rate: £320 - £370/day

Location: Canterbury, Kent

Our client is seeking to employ a General Foreman immediately, based in the Kent area.

You will report directly to the Site Manager, overseeing all site activities, ensuring compliance with HSQE, program, and budget requirements, managing subcontractors and associated stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Collaborating with the Site Manager to coordinate and manage initial site setup, actively implementing framework systems and procedures.

* Implementing new procedure to ensure resource utilization continuously.

* Assessing security risks to all property under your jurisdiction and implementing appropriate security measures.

* Maintaining safety standards as required by our client's safety policies.

* Reviewing method statements and risk assessments.

* Ensuring compliance with all HS&E policies and procedures.

* Management of subcontractors and direct labour

About The Candidate:

* CSCS Card

* SMSTS certification.

* First Aid certification.

* Preferably confined space trained.

* Experience within the water treatment industry preferable

* Lifting Operations experience.

* Experience with heavy civils (Highways, Rail, Structures)
