Junior Platform Engineer

£38,000 to £42,000

Essex

Hybrid (1 Day On-Site Per Week)

An excellent job opportunity for an experienced Platform Engineer to join a longstanding institution based in Essex.

The job role offers a chance to lead a large DevOps transformation as well as an upcoming major cloud migration.

This position is ideal for someone with a development background and eagerness to transition toward a Platform Engineering role.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement cloud infrastructure
Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines
Regular collaboration with the software development team
Manage and optimise infrastructure costs
Ensure DevOps practices align with the organisation's goalsRequired Skills:

AWS services and infrastructure
Docker
Python
Ansible, Terraform
Linux expertise
Software development background

This is a hybrid working role, with company headquarters located in Essex so you should be prepared to travel.
