Electrical Supervisor – Sandwell Area

Are you an experienced Electrical Supervisor looking to take your career to the next level? Join an established and reputable M&E contractor based in the Sandwell area. You’ll be supervising large-scale projects across sectors such as commercial, education, residential, and local authority, offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of exciting and challenging projects.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will:

* Supervise and oversee the installation of electrical systems on a variety of projects.

* Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, adhering to BS7671 regulations and company policies.

* Coordinate and manage a team of electricians and subcontractors on-site.

* Work closely with project managers to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.

* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

* Manage and oversee the delivery of materials and equipment to site.

* Provide technical guidance and support to the team when required.

* Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

* Prepare and maintain site documentation, including progress reports and risk assessments.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

* JIB Gold Card (essential).

* City & Guilds Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations or equivalent qualification.

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).

* 2391 Testing and Inspection certification (preferred).

* Proven experience supervising electrical installations on large-scale projects in commercial, education, residential, or local authority sectors.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

* A solid understanding of health and safety regulations and industry standards.

* The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

* A full UK driving license.
