Description

Insight Education is seeking dedicated and adaptable Supply Nursery Practitioner to support nurseries across Brighton. In this role, you will step into a variety of nursery settings, providing high-quality instruction and maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of the Nursery Practitioner. Your ability to quickly build rapport with children and staff, manage room dynamics, and manage the room will be essential to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

* Care and Safety – Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children is a core responsibility for a Nursery Practitioner. This includes a safe and clean environment, addressing any health or safety concerns and supervising children at all times.

* Maintain Classroom Management – Manage behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere.

* Adapt to Different Environments – Quickly familiarise yourself with new nursery settings and classroom dynamics.

* Maintain Communication – Keep in regular contact with nursery staff to report on children’s progress and any issues that arise.

Requirements:

* Level 3 NVQ in Childcare/Early Years Education or equivalent

* Maintaining a professional attitude and a positive mindset, even in challenging situations.

* A flexible, adaptable, and positive approach to working in various nursery settings.

* Previous experience in a nursery or early years environment is desired.

* Good knowledge of the EYFS and British Values.
