Description

You'll produce precision assemblies that save lives - about 25 people a year! This is a globally recognised company that produce safety equipment for aircraft.

You'll work within the Assembly & Test Department where you will be carrying out the following tasks:

Assemble manufactured components to technical specifications and quality standards.
Inspecting assemblies produced in the unit to the required quality procedures using tools
Deburring of components prior to assembly

We'd like you to have some of the following skills;

Assembly workshop experience with the ability to work to technical drawings & specifications.
Experience of using a variety of hand and power tools
Experience of being able to inspect components against dimensions, tolerances, quality procedures and standards.

Sheet metal fettling, deburring, degreasing, riveting and fitting

Assembly of hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and pressure testing

Use of brazing or welding torch for joining metal components
