Maintenance Engineer

Alecto Recruitment are currently working with a Waste Management Company, who are looking to expand their team in the coming weeks.

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer with relevant experience to work on a Monday to Friday basis within a site local to Oldbury.

Job Brief

To support the maintenance team with all maintenance on site.

During this role, you will be required to;

Manage the maintenance on site.
Improve performance and reliability of the maintenance activities on site.
Implement maintenance strategy.
Uphold a high standard of health and safety throughout the plant.
Comply with existing procedures throughout the company.
Maintain and repair recycling machinery and mobile plant.
Work with both Mechanical and Electrical equipment to diagnose and repair faults.Requirements

Qualified to BTEC/City & Guilds Level Three standard or equivalent.
Certified to 17th or 18th edition.
Hold an IOSH certificate.
Ideally have experience working with Conveyors, Balers and Compactors.
Any Welding experience would be beneficial.
Strong Electrical and Mechanical experience working within Heavy Industry/Process Plant environments.
Ability to fault find on mobile and static plant.Salary varies between £35,000 and £38,000 a year plus additional benefits.

The Person

This role would suit an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias. Ideally someone with the eye for detail and good communication skills.
