Description

GIS Developer with React Experience We're seeking a skilled GIS Developer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in geographical information systems and mapping technologies, complemented by React development skills.

Primary Responsibilities
Develop and maintain sophisticated GIS applications using ArcGIS JavaScript SDK and other mapping libraries
Implement complex spatial analysis features and custom mapping solutions
Create and manage multi-layered maps with various data sources
Integrate mapping functionality into existing web applications
Optimise application performance for handling large spatial datasets Essential Requirements
Extensive experience with ArcGIS JavaScript SDK and proven ability to implement its advanced features
Strong understanding of GIS principles including coordinate systems, map projections, and spatial analysis
Practical experience with one or more additional mapping libraries (Mapbox, Leaflet, or OpenLayers)
Working knowledge of React.js and modern JavaScript
Proven track record of delivering web-based mapping solutions Desired Skills
Experience with Esri ecosystem and ArcGIS Enterprise
Knowledge of spatial databases (PostGIS, SQL Server Spatial)
Familiarity with vector tile services and real-time data integration
Understanding of cartographic principles and map design
Experience with TypeScript
