About the Role:
We are seeking a Civil Engineer (Level 2) to contribute to the design, planning, and construction of a range of civil and infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer looking to develop their technical and project management skills while working on diverse projects within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
·Project Coordination: Effectively manage projects to meet time, cost, and quality targets.
·Technical Expertise:
oConduct and coordinate civil engineering surveys, appraising findings.
oInspect infrastructure to assess condition and structural integrity.
oPerform and prepare technical calculations.
oBegin developing detailed technical designs using AutoCAD, C3D, and InfoDrainage.
oProduce technical documentation and drawings for various project stages.
·Collaboration:
oWork closely with internal and external design consultants as part of a unified project team.
oLiaise with clients and stakeholders to provide informed advice on build specifications.
·Site and Meetings:
oOrganise and attend pre-contract briefings and site visits.
oChair and document external meetings while participating in internal project meetings.
·Systems and Compliance:
oAccurately utilise company systems (e.g., Deltek) for project and client data management.
oParticipate in mandatory training and maintain CPD professional standards.
·Flexibility: Undertake additional duties as required, aligned with the level of responsibility.
Key Skills and Requirements:
·Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering.
·Progressing towards corporate membership (EngTech/Eng/CEng MICE preferred).
·Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with BIM/Revit/IES.
·Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
·Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings.
