Production Operative

£12.50 p/h, Burgess Hill, M-F, 8am-4pm, FTC (5 month fixed term contract starting February 2025 and ending July 2025), Pension, Staff Discounts, Cycle to Work Scheme, Season Ticket Loan Scheme

The Role

We are working with an innovative e-commerce company in Burgess Hill looking for a Production Operative to work in a small team. Reporting into the Production Manager, this role will involve you working alongside the production team supporting the fulfillment of the orders, ensuring the production schedule is achieved and quality standards are met by working to produce a range of vinyl printed clothing.

Produce decorated clothing using a heat press machines
Upkeep a clean and safe working environment
Cutting, weeding and pressing heat pressed vinyl, to make and reclaim screens
Labelling and packing of goods
Maintaining equipment
Receiving deliveries, checking stocking and storing inventory items

Requirements

The role of Production Operative would suit someone who is quick to learn and always strives to present their work to a high standard. Previous experience in decorating clothing is not required as full training will be given to someone who can demonstrate a positive attitude and ideally some experience working in a warehouse or factory setting. This role would suit you if you have previously worked as a Production Worker, Warehouse Operative or a Factory Worker.
