A&G Resourcing Ltd is looking for numbers of experienced HGV Class1 Drivers for our client based in Chepstow.
Ongoing work available.
General haulage.
We have different shift patterns depending on what suits you so why not apply and find out more.
Days £16.00 PAYE / £19.00 Umbrella
Nights Mon – Fri £17.00 PAYE / £21.00 Umbrella
Night Sat £18.00 PAYE / £22.00 Umbrella
Night Sun £19.00 PAYE / £23.00 Umbrella
Key Responsibilities
* Completing daily vehicle checks in line with the company procedure to ensure they are roadworthy.
* Reporting vehicle defects immediately in line with company procedure
* Assisting with loading and unloading company vehicles
* Reporting any customer complaints to the Transport team
* Complying with all current EU road transport regulations
* Ensuring the freight is secure for transit on the vehicle and not overloaded by weight or capacity.
* Ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and presentable.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
* Holds a valid HGV LGV Class 1 licence.
* Holds a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card)
* Holds a Digital Tachograph card.
* No more than 6 points on your licence
