An excellent opportunity for an experienced Store Person / Labourer to join a well-established company.

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Location: Tadcaster LS24.

Salary: £12 - £14 Per Hour, Depending on Experience.

About The Company:

They are a specialist engineering and fabrication business, delivering high quality solutions to meet the most challenging situations for leading global brands, including a large number of blue-chip companies.

Offering a full range of fabricated steelwork in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium and have an extensive range of facilities on site, meaning they have total control over quality, delivery and lead times. They work closely with their clients to understand their needs and create bespoke solutions, from concept design to on-site fitting.

They are now looking to recruit an Experienced Stores Person / Labourer to join their busy team.

About The Role:

This role, based within a steel fabrication workshop, requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar environment assisting welder/fabricators in their daily tasks. Providing general support to facilitate successful operations. On-the-job training will be provided in specialist areas of the job, Duties will include, but not limited to assisting in stores with daily duties and PAT testing.

Essential Requirements & Duties:

* Current Driving Licence.

* Always working to a high standard and attention to detail.

* Promote and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

* Committed to high standards of housekeeping.

* Comply with all relevant internal rules, policy and procedures, including those relating to Health and Safety, Data Protec􀆟on and all those contained within the issued Employee Handbook.

* Undertake other du􀆟es and tasks that may be allocated that are appropriate to the job.

Desirable Requirement:

* Counterbalance Forklift Truck Certificate

* Experience working in stores

* Knowledge/experience with hand tools

* Basic IT skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Adaptable to changing priori􀆟es.

* Strong communication skills.

* Willing to learn and suggest ideas.
