FLT DRIVER OPPORTUNITY IN LIVINGSTON!

Connect are recruiting experienced Forklift Drivers to join one of our Livingston based production and manufacturing client.

This is a full-time ongoing position with immediate starts available, working 5 days over 7, between 05:30 to 15:30 - paid weekly at £13.07 per hour.

Working as a Forklift Driver you will be responsible for moving goods, loaded pallets and equipment safely and securely. In addition to driving forklifts, as a Forklift Driver you may also need to undertake general warehouse duties as and when needed. Your responsibilities will include:

Manoeuvring forklifts safely in busy industrial environments
Safely using a forklift to stack and unstacking large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets
Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas using a forklift
Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas
Ensuring forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions
Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages
Consolidating partial pallets for incoming goodsTo be successful in this position you will have a valid license, combined with: Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail; The physical ability to perform manual labour; The ability to work well in a team; Knowledge of warehouse H&S requirements; The ability to itemise and record stock for inventories.
