Job Advert: Plumbers / Pipefitters – Sandwell Area

Are you a skilled Plumber or Pipefitter looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Join an established and reputable M&E contractor based in the Sandwell area. You’ll be working on large-scale projects across a range of sectors, including commercial, education, residential, and local authority, with opportunities to work on diverse and stimulating projects.

This is a permanent position, offering career progression, a competitive salary, and excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities

As a Plumber / Pipefitter, you will:

* Install and maintain plumbing and pipefitting systems across various sectors.

* Undertake 1st and 2nd fix installations on large-scale projects.

* Work with various piping systems, including copper, steel, and plastic.

* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Conduct testing and commissioning of installed systems.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards on all projects.

* Diagnose and repair plumbing and piping issues when required.

* Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient project delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent qualifications.

* Proven experience in plumbing and/or pipefitting in commercial, residential, or education projects.

* CSCS or JIB Card (essential).

* Knowledge of gas and water systems is advantageous.

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

* A full UK driving license.
